Clan Campbell of Argyll is one of the largest and most powerful of all the Highland clans, its chief the Duke of Argyll, seated at Inveraray Castle on the shores of Loch Fyne.
The sett takes the blue and green Campbell ground crossed with black, lifted here by fine white and yellow lines. It is the tartan of the Argyll Campbells, close cousin to the Black Watch.
It suits weddings, clan gatherings, and Highland Games, and carries the name of the Campbells of Argyll. Wear it with an Argyll jacket and a semi-dress sporran, finished with a set of kilt hose.
Wear it for the occasion, or because the name is yours.
