The Campbells of Loudoun are an Ayrshire branch of the great Clan Campbell, holding Loudoun Castle near Galston and rising to become Earls of Loudoun.
The sett takes the familiar blue and green Campbell ground, crossed with black and lifted by a bright yellow overcheck. That yellow line is what marks it apart from the plainer Campbell setts.
