<p>The Fenton Tartan Kilt is woven in vivid red, crossed with dark green windowpane checks and fine white lines — a classic, striking Fenton colourway.</p>
<p>The Fenton name traces to the Barony of Fenton at Dirleton in East Lothian, with John de Fenton recorded as Sheriff of Forfar in 1261 among the earliest documented family members. His son William de Fenton served as a military leader during the Wars of Independence, fighting in support of Robert the Bruce. Clan Fenton is recognised as an armigerous clan — it once held chiefly arms, though no one currently holds them, meaning the clan has no chief recognised under Scots law today, but its tartan remains open to anyone descended from the family.</p>
<p>This vivid red colourway suits weddings, Highland games, and any occasion calling for a bold, classic tartan.</p>
